Your Dog – Genetic Tests & Weight Management

On these pages you can read about the genetic test that will soon be available for the Labrador and flatcoat retriever POMC mutation.

There is also advice about how to keep dogs at a healthy weight, tailored to particularly food motivated dogs but relevant to all dogs whether they have the mutation or not.

If you are interested in reading about what the POMC mutation is and why it is important, see our science pages.
